Child Care Services helps low-income families pay for their child care needs, helps businesses and employers establish child care programs, licenses and registers child care providers, provides education and training for child care providers and parents, assists communities in developing out-of-school time programs.

HHS and its regional offices work to coordinate fatherhood activities throughout the states and have sponsored a variety of forums to bring together local public and private organizations and individuals to support fathers' involvement in their families and communities.

The Department of Social Services offers general information and referrals/assistance, in-home services, long-term care, legal services, nutrition and insurance counseling.
