The Child Care Assistance Program is designed to help low-income families obtain and pay for the care of their dependent children while they are at work or in training.

HHS and its regional offices work to coordinate fatherhood activities throughout the states and have sponsored a variety of forums to bring together local public and private organizations and individuals to support fathers' involvement in their families and communities.

The North Dakota Department of Human Services offers various programs and services as outreach, senior companions, congregate meals and home-delivered meals, respite care, personal care, adult family foster care, family home care, adult day care, training for family caregivers, traumatic brain injury services, and residential and transitional living programs.
