Family Respite provides free quality care for children birth through eight.

The Respite sessions are held at the Head Start of N.E. Nevada Preschool Classrooms.

The program is supported by a well-planned schedule offering creative arts, fine and large motor activities, interactive games, music, crafts, and storytelling.

The children are cared for by a professional and certified staff, well-trained Jr. and High School students, and senior citizen volunteers.

HHS and its regional offices work to coordinate fatherhood activities throughout the states and have sponsored a variety of forums to bring together local public and private organizations and individuals to support fathers' involvement in their families and communities.

Nevada Community Connections partners with families and communities to develop and deliver quality services such as respite child care to parents of special needs children, ages birth to six.
