The Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) provides financial aid for childcare to eligible low-income families in the State of Connecticut.

Benefits are available to parents who are working, in an approved training program, have a verified need for childcare, and who are using a legal, eligible provider.

The Workersí Compensation Commission provides general information on workers' compensation law, policies and procedures, as well as vocational rehabilitation services to eligible injured employees; it reviews and approves workers' compensation managed medical care plans (PPOs), individual employer self-insurance applications, and employer health & safety committees; and it maintains claim and other workers' compensation-related documents.

The Elderly Services Division coordinates and provides funding for programs serving Connecticutís senior citizens.

In addition to its own programs, the Division coordinates federal and state funding to the five Area Agencies on Aging (AAA), which disburse funds for nutrition and other social services for the elderly programs throughout the state in congregate settings such as senior centers or in the homes of frail elderly citizens.

AAAís are also the primary source for Connecticutís CHOICES for Seniors programs, providing Health Insurance assistance, Outreach, Information and Referral and Counseling services and Eligibility Screening for state and federal benefit and/or support programs in their regions.
