The Center for Women's Employment and Educationís (CWEE) mission is to provide realistic programs to help low income, single parents, and families develop and expand the skills and confidence necessary to obtain continuous, meaningful employment and career advancement.

CWEE helps single parents move from welfare to work by offering a well-rounded program that teaches skills, provides support, and helps participants identify and overcome obstacles to their success.

The Colorado Child Care Assistance Program provides financial assistance to low-income families that are working, searching for employment or in training, and families that are enrolled in the Colorado Works Program and need child care services to support their efforts toward self-sufficiency.

The federal HHS department and its regional offices work to coordinate fatherhood activities throughout the states and have sponsored a variety of forums to bring together local public and private organizations and individuals to support fathers' involvement in their families and communities.

The Low-Income Energy Assistance Program and the Low-Income Telephone Assistance Program (LIFELINE) offer financial assistance to families falling within income guidelines.
