The Labor Project for Working Families is a research and advocacy organization that works with unions to develop workplace policies on family issues such as childcare, elder care, family leave, flexible work schedules and labor-management committees.

Its website provides links to information on topics such as the Best Union Contracts and the Working Families Bill of Rights.

Also includes information about The Work and Family Coalition, a group that organizes unions, advocacy groups and community organizations to promote a balanced work and family life in California.

During 2000-2001, The Working Families Coalition worked to help win Funding for 0-5 Child Development Programs, Child Care Compensation Programs and Child Care Subsidies for Low Income Parents.
