Alabama activities: Access and Visitation –Alabama provides an advisory group to coordinate agency and interest groups for the discussion of access and visitation issues to point the way for improved programs and policies including custody and visitation statutes. They will also train judges and staff on access and visitation issues. The program operates four pilot projects on mediation and parental education for a primarily unwed population in rural and urban settings.
