The Department of Juvenile Justice developed local Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Councils that involve community groups and community members. The local Councils were given the responsibility to assess their communties. Each council is working with representative agencies and community groups to further their efforts toward promoting healthy growth of our youth. |

The fundamental mission of the national CAPT system is to bring research to practice.
