To increase access to quality health care and to use educational methods as an incentive to attract and retain health care providers in areas of need. Programs and services offered through Wyoming AHEC are community-based and focus on community/academic partnerships. Educational interventions will promote improved health, disease prevention, primary care services, and cost containment. The AHEC Advisory Committee is appointed by the WHRN Board of Directors. Committee members represent a broad spectrum of health care providers, educators, and policy makers. AHEC Advisory Committee members serve without reimbursement, and they pledge not to use their affiliation with Wyoming AHEC for any personal or professional gain.
