This site will assist you to locate specific county-level data as it relates to the risk and protective factors. You begin by selecting the county in which you are interested from either the map or the table on the home page. You may also view data collected at the state-level only by selecting "State" in the table. After you select the county, you will see five options for problem area. At this time, although there is data in all problem areas, we primarily have data in the Alcohol, Tobacco and Drug Use area. When you select the problem area, two buttons will appear: Domain and Developmental Assets. Domain is the sphere of influence, such as community, family, individual, and school, for each risk and protective factor. Choosing "Domain" will bring you to a list of risk factors, protective factors, and associated outcomes organized by domain. A blue triangle indicates that there is data for an individual factor or outcome under that domain. Clicking on a factor will bring you to the appropriate indicators. |
