The People's Clinic is a non-profit community health center which offers comprehensive adult, pediatric and prenatal medical services to medically indigent families in Boulder County. Originally started in 1970 as a nursing-based clinic for drop-in services, the Clinic has grown and changed considerably during the past twenty-five years. All charges for Clinic services are based upon the patient's ability to pay, hence, patients must first show financial eligibility for services. Receiving funding through a variety of funding sources, the Clinic provides medical services at two sites in Boulder and was able to serve over 9000 patients last year.
